This weekend Southern Ontario is expected to see some of its coldest temperatures this fall with expected lows around -2 degrees C. All cold hardy palms will be just fine with this temperature. Perhaps a little browning on the tips depending on how long the temperatures stay below 0 C.
If you are near Lake Ontario or Lake Erie, the expected low is 1 C.
ANYONE THAT HAS A TROPICAL PLANT MUST BRING THE PLANT INSIDE BY FRIDAY NIGHT (OCT. 16TH).
You can take a look at my website and view the palm catalogue to determine whether your plants are the tropical variety or the cold hardy variety.
Feel free to call my if you have questions.
